HEROES

HEROES develops high-voltage cables and connectors to meet the needs of electric and hybrid aviation.

Through modeling tools and demonstrators, HEROES designs disconnectable connectors and aluminum cables, optimizing mass while meeting the electrical and mechanical requirements of aircraft. This project is part of aviation’s energy transition, with applications in hybrid commercial aircraft and EVTOL. The project targets solutions adapted to voltages up to 1000V and continuous currents of 300A.

This 3-year project is co-funded by the DGAC with the support of the European Union (Next Generation EU) under the CORAC program. It involves Radiall, a member of GIE Albatros, as well as Nexans and MECATRACTION.
